About Us
My first pond was built with my father when I was 8 years old. As I got older I learned from my father and uncles about electrical, plumbing, and construction. Soon after I went into the military and learned Information technology. My next pond started out as 500 gallon pond with a 4ft waterfall in 2000. I was happy with the project, but the pond wasn’t big enough. It took a couple of years and I then decided to build a big pond with all the features: stream, waterfall, circulation, low maintenance, and multiple viewing areas. After a year of planning I came up with a 13,500 gallon design, a 9 ft. stream and a 4 ft waterfall to grow large KOI up to 3 ft. in size
KOI of FIRE was started as a result of a friend of mine coming by to see my two completed ponds that were built on my property. He said; “You don’t have any more room for another pond, so now what are you going to do?” I really didn’t know, but I knew I wasn’t finished building ponds. I received a call from another friend who was having a problem with their pond and then another and then yet another. Finally someone said to me “You know you could start a business with what you know”. The idea was planted and the rest as they say is history.
